Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Design Team April Blog Hop! We’re a group of Stampin’ Up Demonstrators from across the world that create two projects a month with the goal of inspiring you to make cards.

This month we created cards using any of the items from the On-Line Exclusive Products. This is a new way for you to see new products in-between the release of new catalogs. Type in Online Exclusives in the search box on the Stampin’ Up Online Store and all the items will come up for you to review. You find the ones you like and order them from our on-line stores. I used both the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set and Hello Irresistible Designer Series paper as well as the new Elegant Borders Dies to create my card. I also used the Brushed Brass Butterflies as my embellishment.
I learned to make this Fun Fold card from Jackie Bolhuis and it is so simple to make! I love this card design because you get to see both sides of the designer series paper that you select.
To Make This Card:
- A piece of 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Flirty Flamingo cardstock scored at 1 1/4″ on one side. Use a bone folder to make a crisp fold along the score line.
- A piece of double-sided 6″ x 6″ Hello Irresistible Designer Series paper. Cut three pieces: one 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece and two 1″ x 5 1/4″ pieces.
- Attach one of the strips of Hello Irresistible Designer Series paper to the front flap of the cardstock using your favorite adhesive.
- Use one of the Elegant Border Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out a border in the other 1″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series paper.
- Attach the cut out pieces of Hello Irresistible Designer Series paper to the right-hand side of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock.
- Attach the Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card using your favorite adhesive.
- Lay the 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series paper onto of the Basic White cardstock and glue the front flap onto the designer series paper. This now make the front of your card.
- Cut out a 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ mat out of Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
- Cut out a 2 1/5″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock.
- Stamp the “Thank You” sentiment and the small flower image from the Irresistible Blooms Stamp set onto the Basic White cardstock using Flirty Flamingo ink.
- Attach the sentiment to the Flirty Flamingo mat and then attach to the front of the card.
- Add 3 Brushed Brass Butterflies to embellish the card.
