Casually Crafting Blog Hop – May 2022

The Casually Crafting Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world, gathered together to share our passion for creativity with you. Our focus is to bring you inspiration featuring projects that are easy to create while still packing a powerful creative punch. The projects are made with only a few products, making them ideally suited to a beginner or casual crafter. 

This month is a Color Challenge featuring the 2022-2024 In Colors. Look at the colors below and take a moment to think about what type of card you might design …

I’ve been having a lot of fun making cards using quilting designs. For this month’s card, I selected one of my favorite punches (Tailored Tag Punch) and a package of the 2022-2024 In Colors Designer Series paper. The papers are two sided and have 4 different patterns in each of the In Color. I punched out two different designs for each of the In Colors and then arranged them on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Since I didn’t use the Starry Sky designs in the “quilt” piece I decided to use two of the Starry Sky designs as borders on the card. I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set in Starry Sky ink.
