Monthly Blog Hop – August 2021

Welcome to our August Blog Hop! We’re a group of Stampin’ Up Demonstrators from around the world who design cards to inspire others. Each month we select a different stamp set to design Thank You cards for our valuable customers and team members.

I love stamp sets with flowers but I typically only buy the ones that have die sets to cut out the images. I have a hard time fussy cutting very detailed images.  I was attracted to the Shaded Summer Stamp set found in the Annual Catalog on page 75, but didn’t purchase it because there were no dies.  When I saw the matching Summer Shadows Dies as a Free reward in the Sale-A-Bration booklet on page 13, I knew I had to get it!

I wanted to showcase the two flower images! So to make my gate cards, I used the smaller image to stamp the the inside and outside of the flaps. I used the same color of ink and cardstock for the card bases. I featured the large flower image by stamping it onto Very Vanilla cardstock and cutting it out with the die. I included the “Thank You” sentiment from the stamp set to the card fronts. I embellished the cards withmatch ribbon! Here is the first card I made with Fresh Freesia cardstock and ink.

Here is the same card using Polished Pink cardstock and ink.

Many of my customers have already placed an order with me this month so they will all be receiving one of these Thank You cards from me in the next week. I hope I have inspired you to purchase the Shaded Summer Stamp set and  Summer Shadows Dies.

If you place an order with me in August, I’ll be sending you one of these Thank You cards.  If you place a $50 or more order and use my August Host Code, CNZ93S2Z, you’ll also receive a  FREE Creativity Abounds Tutorial Bundle from the new July-December Catalog and includes non-Holiday Bundles OR you can purchase it for $15 by emailing me at ses@aquarius.family

  1. These gate cards look fabulous in both Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink. Beautiful job Susan. Thank you for taking part in our Demonstrator Training Support Program Blog Hop this month.

  2. Lovely gate fold card, I will admit to being partial to the Fresh Freesia color, but then, any shade of purple catches my eye.
