Here is a quick and easy Holiday Decoration that you can use to embellish your Holiday table or give as a wonderful Hostess Gift!
To make this quick candle decoration, I used the Merriest Moment Bundle found on page 23 of the July-December Mini Catalog and the Painted Christmas Designer Series paper found on page 29 of the same catalog.
To make this decoration: Cut a piece of Designer Series paper. The size depends upon the diameter of your candle.
I stamped leaves out of Shaded Spruce ink and Poinsette flowers out of Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock. I cut out the leaves and flowers using the dies from the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. I love this set because it has dies to cut out the flowers and leaves, but it also has an amazing embossing folder.
I arranged the leaves and flowers and attached them to the Painted Christmas Designer Series paper. I stamped “Joy” out of Basic Black ink and cut the sentiment with one of the Beautiful Shapes Dies. Finally, I attached the sentiment below the flower arrangement and added a few rhinestone embellishments.
You can do this with any Stamp Set and Dies with the Designer Series paper of your choice. I’m planning to make a few more to place on my Christmas table and to give a few away as Holiday Gifts.
